Hi. It seems rkhunter creates a directory for temporary files in: /var/lib/rkhunter/ I think it would be better if this goes to some proper location for temp files, especially one that is cleaned up at least on reboots. (Of course the tempdir would need to be created in a safe manner especally as security relevant files go into it, see also #868730) The reason is that it seems every now and then rkhunter fails to run and leaves over files like: /var/lib/rkhunter/tmp/rkhunter.dat.nVR3TMeLN6 /var/lib/rkhunter/tmp/rkhunter.dat.rsWMQN1zbO which stay there for eternity.
