I went the other way, actually. At first I noticed the weird
executable name and wondered if I should rename it; but that would imply
making changes to the source (with possible unforseen consequences).
After asking in #debian-mentors I decided it was not worth the troulble.

I'm not married to that solution. If you think it's better to follow
the convention I'm okay with it. I'll make the necessary changes :)

That's pretty much what I figured. I didn't want to change the
upstream source so i just left those there. As for the "mo" locale, I've
notified them about it - it seems to be a generalized problem so I
wasn't sure where to file a bug report.
I haven't received an answer from them, though, so I'm thinking I
might just file a bug report on each package and move on.

That wasn't actually a translation; it was a typo... :P
But thanks for pointing it out, I've corrected it.
