Hello Julian, I used the translation file from Launchpad for Ubuntu to have a translation memory. Sometimes there are differences with "root" software like the "\r" you mentioned. About msgid "[IP: %s %s]" msgstr "[IP : %s %s]"
I do not get what the problem is, we use a space, well narrow non breaking space, before ";:?!»" and after "»". Just like in French. The translations are reviewed, you can have a look at https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/impish/+source/apt/+pots/apt/oc/+translate to judge. I am working to complete to translation step by step. NAK The translation includes inappropriate formatting changes: po/oc.po:3031: warning: internationalized messages should not contain the '\r' escape sequence or this: msgid "[IP: %s %s]" msgstr "[IP : %s %s]" and only translates about half the messages oc: 486 translated messages, 1 fuzzy translation, 223 untranslated Given the obvious lack of review, the lack of many translations, this does not seem to be ready for review yet, and I do not have enough faith in the submission to not be messed up in other ways. Feel free to resubmit a translation that has been reviewed and addressed the issues. I'm especially worried about technical issues, given that the file has not been tested at all, and their being security implications if one % is missing or in the wrong place. I don't necessarily have an interest in reviewing each translated string myself. Maybe there are tools to ensure that the formatting strings use the same operators in the same order, I don't translate stuff much. -- debian developer - deb.li/jak | jak-linux.org - free software dev ubuntu core developer i speak de, en
