I typed "sudo apt install qmail".

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
I rebooted, but even logging in took a very long time.
No internet, no gnome. I had to reinstall using USB stick.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
