Same for me with my system running on Debian/bullseye (with i3wm), I'm also unable to reproduce your issue, Martin. If it's really *not* related to your configuration in your $HOME, what I could imagine is a situation where you might have geeqie running on another workspace, hidden state or alike and then opening another geeqie instance. When quitting geeqie and restarting geeqie then, you might have two windows, where the wrong one might be visible? HTH && regards -mika-
