Currently we have for Chinese: Package: task-chinese-s-desktop fcitx, fcitx-sunpinyin, fcitx-googlepinyin, fcitx-table-wubi, fcitx-frontend-qt5, kde-config-fcitx im-config, Package: task-chinese-t-desktop fcitx, fcitx-chewing, fcitx-table, im-config, Simply replacing fcitx with fcitx5 in tasksel for Chinese apparently does not work, because there is - for example - no package "fcitx5-sunpinyin" in Bullseye, while "fcitx5-chewing" is indeed existing in Bullseye. So, there is more input needed, which package replaces which, and dealing with dependencies, and so on. Maybe, you could provide a patch for tasksel to deal with this issue?
