Package: icewm-common Version: 2.1.2-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: rwu...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, After installing IceWM, I was reading through the manpage for icehelp(1) and noticed a few of the options don't work. Specifically, the options -B, -i, and -s do not work because they are looking fot html files that are not installed with the Debian package. Example output: rkw@debian:~$ icehelp -s 13:33:02.403: icehelp: Invalid path: /usr/share/doc/icewm-common/icesound.1.html 13:33:02.404: icehelp: Path does not refer to a file. The issue persists as well through the "Start Menu" path of Start > Settings > Help > [Icewm(1)|IcewmBg(1)|IceSound(1)] I tried building icewm from git and installing to /usr/local/ and found that the issue did not persist, so I believe there is a situation somewhere in the Debian package that prevents the html file versions of the icewm manpages from being generated. Building from source creates html files for each of the manpages. I saw the earlier bugs of #793771 and #810286 which seemed to describe a similar situation regarding the IceWM manual which has since been resolved. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide.
