Hello.
This suggestion and related ones like 980{236,358-363} will probably
wait for the end of the freeze. Meanwhile, I am doing trivial but
non-automatic rebases locally. It does not seem useful to flood
this bug log with intermediate rebases, so if this is OK with you,
I will only send up-to-date versions on demand.
