Hi,

/etc/pam.d/common-session has the following comment:

# This file is included from other service-specific PAM config files,
# and should contain a list of modules that define tasks to be performed
# at the start and end of sessions of *any* kind (both interactive and
# non-interactive).

I don't think this is true: this file is only used for interactive
sessions.

/etc/pam.d/common-noninteractive correctly states:
# This file is included from other service-specific PAM config files,
# and should contain a list of modules that define tasks to be performed
# at the start and end of all non-interactive sessions.
