$ wajig policy metacity metacity: Installed: 1:2.14.1-1 Candidate: 1:2.14.1-1 Version table: *** 1:2.14.1-1 0 500 ftp://mirrors.kernel.org unstable/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status $ wajig policy devilspie devilspie: Installed: (none) Candidate: 0.17.1-1 Version table: 0.17.1-1 0 500 ftp://mirrors.kernel.org unstable/main Packages Well, the window is not opening Maximized anymore, but it *is* opening "as big as it can get", and not remembering the last window shape and size. I do not think that this is necessarily a metacity issue, because Firefox 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-4 and Pan 0.14.2.91-5 both remember their window sizes. Also, the issue only occurred after I installed Evo 2.6.0-2. At the same time, I upgraded many other packages, and can attach a list of upgraded packages (along with previous versions). -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ron Johnson, Jr. Jefferson, LA USA "The mass of ignorant Negroes still breed carelessly and disastrously, so that the increase among Negroes, even more than the increase among whites, is from that portion of the population least intelligent and fit, and least able to rear their children properly."
