Package: cron
Version: 3.0pl1-136ubuntu1
Severity: minor

[I checked this against other bugs, so I think it’s not already been
reported.]

The sentences:

Please note that startup, as far as @reboot is concerned, is the time when
  the cron(8) daemon startup.
In particular, it may be before some system daemons, or other facilities,
  were startup.

would be better written:

Please note that startup, as far as @reboot is concerned, is the time when
  the cron(8) daemon starts up.
In particular, it may be before some system daemons, or other facilities,
  are started.

In both sentences, it’s the text around “startup” that has been fixed.
