Package: xserver Version: xorg Severity: critical Justification: breaks the whole system
After the upgrade to version 7 of xorg, the screensaver is completely frezzing the machine. It doesn't allow contrl+alt+backspace to kill X. I can't switch to console either, control+alt+f? is also blocked, leaving as only alternative to unplug the cord. I have had to disable the screensaver. I reported the bug as screensaver problem, but was referred to http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/faq.html#server-crash. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=en_US.ISO-8859-15, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO-8859-15 (charmap=ISO-8859-15) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
