php-amqplib is not compatible with PHP 8, thanks to its test suite for making it obvious. Upstream is working on a new major release. I don’t know if they intend to fix those compatibility issues in the current version, in the next major, or later (not sure the new major will be compatible with the reverse dependencies). https://github.com/php-amqplib/php-amqplib/issues/662
