Package: pcscd
Version: 1.3.0-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I need pcscd to use gnupg with my CardMan4000 reader. I also need
chipcardd2 to use gnucash/HBCI. chipcardd2 only uses the device
(/dev/cmm0) when it is actually in use, and frees it afterwards. If
pcscd could (at least optionally) show the same behaviour, I could run
both daemons the same time, and I would not have to kill pcscd every
time I want to access my bank account.

I think other users of more than one smartcard will also benefit from
that feature.

Thanks,
Joachim
