These serious internal errors relate to different conditions in the
packaging of upstream sources. We left the messages for the public to
catch all corner cases, but the errors are not fatal. You can see that
in the last two lines of your log:
N: 5 tags overridden (5 info)
Finished running lintian.
Since the issue affects only 5 checks out of 208 (and only a small
share of packages) Lintian is still usable, although the output is
admittedly confusing. Thanks for reporting the issue!
