diamond-aligner depends on proteinortho and is not built for mips64el https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=diamond-aligner mips64el is not a typical architecture for bioinformatics. If the upstream of both projects and other relevant build dependencies decide to officially support mips64el then the Debian-Med team will be happy to support mips64el for these packages at that time!
