Package: sysvinit
Version: 2.86.ds1-1
Poweroff doesn't turn the power off. The same for shutdown. However, the
machine is capable to do that (e.g. win98 turns the power off correctly and
linux too with acpi=force, but I have other reasons not to force acpi.)
Information about the computer:
I'm using sarge with libc6 version 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge3
