Package: xfree86-driver-synaptics Version: 0.14.4-1 Severity: normal Tags: sid
After yesterday's X.org upgrade in sid (-> 1:7.0.10), X would crash because it couldn't find the "synaptics" driver. This could easily solved by symlinking or copying synaptics_drv.o into the new driver hierarchy (/usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/). For more transparent upgrades, please include this symlink in your package, or even move the driver (and optionally rename the package to xorg-driver-synaptics). Thanks for your work on this package, it is very much appreciated! -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages xfree86-driver-synaptics depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libx11-6 2:1.0.0-5 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 1:1.0.0-3 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxi6 1:1.0.0-3 X11 Input extension library ii xlibs 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System client libraries m ii xserver-xorg 1:7.0.10 the X.Org X server xfree86-driver-synaptics recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
