Package: libreoffice-common Version: 1:7.0.1-1~bpo10+2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Since /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/registry moved to /etc/libreoffice/registry
loolwsd (not in Debian at the moment) fails during bootstrapping:
[ forkit ] TRC dlopen(/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/libmergedlo.so,
RTLD_GLOBAL|RTLD_NOW)| kit/Kit.cpp:2833
[ forkit ] TRC Invoking lok_preinit(/usr/lib/libreoffice/program",
"file:///user")| kit/Kit.cpp:2887
Init vcl
Bootstrapping exception 'cannot find
/org.openoffice.TypeDetection.Types/Types …/configmgr/source/rootaccess.cxx:213'
[ forkit ] TRC Finished lok_preinit(/usr/lib/libreoffice/program",
"file:///user") in 25 ms.| kit/Kit.cpp:2897
[…]
Bootstrapping exception 'cannot find /org.openoffice.Setup/L10N
…/configmgr/source/rootaccess.cxx:213'
LibreOffice itself appears to work fine and I dunno if loolwsd's
dlopen(…/libmergedlo.so)
not honoring ${CONFIGURATION_LAYERS} is an upstream bug or not. The quick fix
is
to symlink /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/registry from /etc/libreoffice/registry,
was there any reason not do that? Setting Severity: wishlist anyway since it
AFAICT only affects software outside Debian.
Cheers,

Guilhem.
