see: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=953577 The old package is not maintained anymore, upstream is "dead" so I have decided to switch to this fork, using the new maxmind geoip2 databases. You have to get the files from maxmind.com, since there is no package for the databases, yet.
