Package: zeek Version: 3.0.7+ds1-2 Severity: serious X-Debbugs-Cc: Axel Beckert <a...@debian.org>
Hi Hilko, zeek is currently uninstallable in Unstable and Testing as libc6 2.31 migrated to testing but zeek depends on "libc6 (<< 2.31)". Or from a different point of view: I can't upgrade libc6 in Unstable due to the zeek package being installed. ;-) Please either schedule a binNMU or make a sourceful upload to get a newer package built against the newer libc6. P.S.: And thanks for bringing Bro/Zeek back in shape for Debian! -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (980, 'unstable-debug'), (600, 'testing'), (111, 'buildd-unstable'), (111, 'buildd-experimental'), (110, 'experimental'), (105, 'experimental-debug') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.7.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages zeek depends on: ii libbroker2 1.2.8+ds1-1 ii libc6 2.30-8 ii libcaf-core0.16.3 0.16.3-0.3 ii libgcc-s1 10.1.0-6 ii libgoogle-perftools4 2.8-1 ii libkrb5-3 1.17-10 ii libmaxminddb0 1.3.2-1 ii libpcap0.8 1.9.1-4 ii libsqlite3-0 3.32.3-1 ii libssl1.1 1.1.1g-1 ii libstdc++6 10.1.0-6 ii zeek-common 3.0.7+ds1-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-2 zeek recommends no packages. zeek suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
