I'm not running OpenCL so it's not easy for me to duplicate your issues. If there are drivers in Debian main (i.e. not contrib or non-free, and not directly downloaded from the manufacturer), and they work with my old AMD card (or my newer intel laptop), I'm willing to install them to investigate. To start it would help if you could list exactly what GPU and drivers you are using.
