On testing, the plymouth(8) man page refers to the non-existing
plymouth-set-theme(1) man page in the SEE ALSO section:

http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/Plymouth
However this man page does not exist, nor the program it should cover. I
believe this is a typo as the plymouth-set-default-theme(1) man page
(and program) both exist.
Proposed solution would be to refer to plymouth-set-default-theme(1)
instead of plymouth-set-theme(1) in the plymouth(8) man page.
I have checked very last version upstream (git master branch) and the
fix seems to be already present, as plymouth(8) correctly refers to
plymouth-set-default-theme(1):
