Package: lintian Version: 2.77.0 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hello, while attempting to check a just built package within my sid pbuilder-managed chroot enviroment, I see that lintian is no longer working. Please note that lintian/2.76.0 was working fine in the same environment. Attempting to check the package with the following command: # su -p pbuser -c "lintian -viF $PACKAGE.changes" Can't use an undefined value as a HASH reference at /usr/share/lintian/commands/lintian.pm line 831. exits immediately with the above shown error message. Same exact misbehavior with: # su -p pbuser -c "lintian -EviIL +pedantic $PACKAGE.changes" I would say that this renders lintian unusable, hence the 'grave' severity of the bug report. Please fix this issue.
