current version 3.6-3.2 works for me, well at first it fails, and strace netsurf-fb says it's missing:
openat(AT_FDCWD, "/usr/share/netsurf/DejaVuSans.ttf", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) so a simple (a symlink would probably be enough) cp /usr/share/fonts/truetype/dejavu/DejaVuSans.ttf /usr/share/netsurf/ makes it work on x11 for me. the looks, and keyboard input handling is a bit odd.
