Package: krb5 Version: 1.17-7 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Adding multi-arch foreign to krb5-doc allows it to be used as a dependency of architecture-dependent packages. For example, this will then work on an amd64 host: sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386 sudo apt update sudo apt install krb5-doc:i386 Instead of: Package krb5-doc:i386 is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source This error was triggered in Ubuntu i386 builds due to our slow deprecation of the i386 architecture. See https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel/2019-December/040859.html and similar threads for details. I understand this is not an issue Debian needs to fix on their side, but I'm submitting it here with the goal of keeping our delta (which is nonexistent at the moment) small. I filed a salsa MR about this at https://salsa.debian.org/debian/krb5/-/merge_requests/4 Thanks!
