After some more research I found, that this issue isn't that important I thought (so I set the severity to minor), but it's really obscure. I'm working under XFCE4. I open a terminal and maximize the terminal window. Then I open one more terminal as tab and I have to resize the window again, because the tab-bar makes the original window bigger than the screen. In both do less, ... work. Now I open one more tab and there I see nothing (see the screenshot I attached first). Every following tab shows the same issue. I have to resize the window again to be able to see e.g. the output of less. So that is really obscure. I never had this problem with gnome-terminal <= 2.12. I will try to do some more research.
