I am a long-time user of the proxytunnel package and DM of arno-iptables- firewall. Recently it occured to me proxytunnel not having been updated for quite some time, as well as a Debian package as upstream on Soureceforge [1]. On Github I discovered continued sources [2] and eventually started to work on the package [3]. I am interested in preparing an up-to-date version of proxytunnel for Debian. Therefore, I'd like to ask whether you would accept me as a co-maintainer. In case you are not interested in maintaining the packet any more I would be happy to adopt it. Let me know what you think about my proposal.
