Dear maintainer adding to my previous email, I solved the problem by following the steps. 1. Application-->settings-->keyboard-->Layout-->ctrl+alt [or something] 2. Application-->settings-->Ibus preferences and untick *show icon in systems tray* 3. Right click on system tray Panel-->add new items-->keyboard settings 4. Reboot
It seems that Ibus has a bug. Costas
