I was working on a variant of mariadb-10.4 that would use system WolfSSL in https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-10.4/-/compare/master...feature%2Fsystem-wolfssl Are you familiar with Salsa? At least the package WolfSSL does not seem to be in version control at all.
