util-linux gained native support for dm-verity volumes in the new upstream version 2.35 in the mount/umount tools. It is enough to build with libcryptsetup-dev present to enable this feature. Please consider adding this build-dependency when uploading 2.35 (it probably should be marked as <!stage1>, since libcryptsetup also build-depends on util-linux).
