just an observation about #950696:
there is git-daemon-run (runit runscript) and git-daemon-sysvinit (sysvinit 
script), so the maintainer probably expect you to add
a separate 'git-daemon-systemd' package.
Alternatively you can propose the maintainer to merge all inits support in one 
'git-daemon' package.
