Dear libdc1394 maintainers, Back in 2019 I mentioned the new libdc1394 upstream release in https://bugs.debian.org/940969 . It seems that the new version was uploaded in a completely different source package with both -dev and library package names changed. In this case, the tranditional way of library transition will not be available and we must adjust the source code for all reverse-build- dependencies manually by changing the Build-Depends: field and replace all libdc1394-22-dev with libdc1394-dev. This may take quite a long time. I would suggest requesting a manual transition slot with the Release Team. There is an existing example from src:enchant to src:enchant-2 as in https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/enchant-2.html and you may use it as a reference. -- Thanks, Boyuan Yang
