Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'stable'. It installed fine in 'stable', then the upgrade to 'sid' fails because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a Breaks+Replaces relation. Unpacking diamond-aligner (0.9.29+dfsg-2) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/diamond-aligner_0.9.29+dfsg-2_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/diamond', which is also in package diamond 4.0.515-5 dpkg-deb: error: paste subprocess was killed by signal (Broken pipe) Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/diamond-aligner_0.9.29+dfsg-2_amd64.deb The diamond package which shipped /usr/bin/diamond in buster no longer exists in bullseye and sid, thus diamond-aligner is free to take over the command name, but it needs to ensure that the obsolete package gets removed. cheers, Andreas
