Package: libosmocore Version: all since 2015 (?) The patch file 0001-Removed-illegal-pkg-config-directive.patch that was apparently added to the package in 2015 by the debian package maintainers removes a compiler flag to make the lintian happy. That flag is required by other packages using libosmocore, because the strict aliasing violation happens in the libosmocore headers, and the only way to ensure that those other packages using libosmocore are using this flag is by putting it into the pkgconfig file.
