Source: python-espeak Version: 0.5-1.1 Severity: important Hello,
We haven't had any new from the maintainer sgevatter, and bug #942620 ("src:python-espeak: Maintainer email address not working") is now making python-espeak getting out, thus dropping ibus-braille along it. It seems sgevatter is generally inactive for a year, his ubuntu address used in packages does not work any more, so I'm proposing to salvage the python-espeak package by putting it under the TTS team umbrella. I have pushed the existing Debian history to https://salsa.debian.org/tts-team/python-espeak at made sgevatter's salsa account member of the TTS team, so he can easily contribute again if he gets time to do so again.
