Package: libghc-js-flot-dev Version: 0.8.3-8+b3 Severity: normal When I use criterion and ask it to output the benchmark to a file, with -o foo, it crashes:
/usr/share/haskell-js-flot/jquery.flot.min.js: openFile: does not exist (No such file or directory) I think that file needs to be included in this package. However, it's perhaps worse than that, because what if a program that depends on criterion, is installed, but the haskell development environment is not? Then this package won't be installed either, and it will still fail. Once such program is git-annex, it has a built flag to enable a "git annex benchmark" that uses criterion. That build flag is currently disbabled by default. To support such a program, it seems like the content of jquery.flot.min.js should be included inside the library, not as a separate file. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_USER, TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libghc-js-flot-dev depends on: ii ghc [libghc-base-dev-4.12.0.0-a86a1] 8.8.1+dfsg1+is+8.6.5+dfsg1-2 ii libatomic1 9.2.1-8 ii libc6 2.29-2 ii libgmp10 2:6.1.2+dfsg-4 libghc-js-flot-dev recommends no packages.
