Thanks Graham, that is true. However it is extremely unlikely that anyone is counting DNA substrings on non-AMD64 for the foreseeable future.
I believe the amd64 build failure was a fluke. Being that upstream doesn't support non-AMD64 and that the Debian Med team doesn't have many resources, I feel comfortable with my request.
