Hi,
Lintian reports the above warning. And indeed, debian/rules has:
override_dh_autoconfigure-indep:
CFLAGS="$(CFLAGS)" ./configure --prefix=/usr \
--mandir=/usr/share/man $(CONFARGS)
It seems to me the override is not necessary since CONFARGS and CFLAGS
only set things already set by debhelper/dpkg.
