Package: curl
Version: 7.64.0-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

after upgrading from stretch to buster, some scripts using cURL wwere failing.
I think I traced it down to the curl bug 3676:
https://github.com/curl/curl/issues/3676

Cookies from a cookie file are not sent to the host when the host is a dotless
hostname, i.e. http://testhost/

The bug is fixed upstream but the change appears to not have made it into the
Debian build.

I would be great if the fix could be incorporated into Debian stable.
