Package: rclone Version: 1.45-3 Severity: minor The rclone(1) manpage has an "Install" section towards the beginning which explains how to install rclone from upstream — i.e., download the binary from the web and run that.
This is obviously not the preferred way of running rclone from the rclone Debian package. The manpage should be adjusted to be appropriate and relevant to a Debian system. Probably just deleting that entire section would do. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages rclone depends on: ii libc6 2.28-10 rclone recommends no packages. rclone suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- 👱🏻 Jonathan Dowland ✎ [email protected] 🔗 https://jmtd.net
