We are aware about the issue and it is already fixed in git (we also need to update ruby-sawyer and ruby-octokit to fix ruby-addressable update to 2.7). https://salsa.debian.org/ruby-team/gitlab/commit/edd69c7b2d9f4190a57a0c7ad15b31bd786ea845 Though we will not be updating the unstable version as we can't meaningfully support that version (this will require backporting so many security issues ourseleves, upstream supports a release only for 3 months). It is recommended to use gitlab from buster-fasttrack (http://fasttrack.debian.net) as documented in https://wiki.debian.org/gitlab (which is safe from issues like this).
