Since the package is currently not able to support python3 nor does it work with the current mercurial, I took a look to see what it would take to update it. It does not seem feasible for a drive by upgrade. Currently both the plugins would have to be dropped due to lack of python3-nautilus and python3-caja and the newest upstream source FTBFS when built with python3 due to string/bytes issues. Given that the current maintainer has files an RFA for this package and no one has stepped up, I think it's better just to remove it. If a new maintainer appears and upstream better supports python3, then it can be reintroduced. Scott K
