Almost for sure. There are several tickets opened in CPANs RT regarding this issue. Unfortunately they only contain patches which work around the brokeness without actually fixing the problem. Also those patches, that make the test suite pass, break things on 32 bit archs. Actually I'm not sure what the expected behaviour on 32 bit platforms should be, so I'm not quite sure how to fix that. -Flo -- BOFH excuse #143: had to use hammer to free stuck disk drive heads.
