Package: libfreetype6 Version: 2.9.1-3 Severity: normal Tags: patch With FreeType 2.9 to 2.10.1 (inclusive) and viewing the Oswald font [0] in Chromium 76 or later (or just in ftview from the freetype-demos package) the glyph metrics do not scale with the text size.
Issue was tracked upstream [1] and fixed [2] post 2.10.1 in response to Chromium bug 981443 [3]. This turned out to be an issue in FreeType which caused advance widths not to be scaled in specific cases. It would be greatly appreciated if the fix [2] would be applied to the 2.9.1-3 (and potentially any 2.10.1 package). Note that this is a separate issue from 929982 [4] which also affects Oswald but affects FreeType 2.6.2 to 2.6.5 (inclusive).
