I do not know if it is related, but thunderbird crashes at the same line on my machine:

snoopy:~/teaching/technologieip-iutgtr1-2005$ thunderbird &
[1] 3501
snoopy:~/teaching/technologieip-iutgtr1-2005$ DOUBLE-CLICK: 250 --> -1 THRESHOLD: 8 --> -1 /usr/lib/thunderbird/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 3510 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

[1]+  Exit 139                thunderbird

I have started thunderbird, I have removed an attachement. Now, the crash is reproducible:
- (restart thunderbird)
- choose Contextual menu -> Save All when you are with the mouse on the deleted attachement.
- choose a directory and press Open => crash

I think that deleted attachements should be nonselectable.

I use powerpc.
