* What led up to the situation? I unstalled gufw via apt package manager (CLI) * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I attempted to launch the gufw interface by invoking it via gnome gui, i tried running from CLI, none resulted in expected behavior. * What was the outcome of this action? When starting GUFW from GNOME, window to enter the password for a current user is presented, password provided and noting happens. When starting GUFW from CLI, error reported. * What outcome did you expect instead?
