Very first: thank you very much for reporting this issue! I am the upstream maintainer, and unfortunately i have been the one who introduced this length calculation bug over a year ago. I have pushed a fix to the master branch and all the stable branches. The patch itself is pretty small and should apply to v14.9.13, too; maybe Paride (the Debian maintainer) is willing to create an updated package (Paride could have some grappa if he wants to, too). (I hope with the patch GSSAPI is working fine again, i had a very restricted environment from the end of 2015 to April 2019, and still have not found time to create a complete test bed with a lot of VMs, let alone ones with properly configured GSSAPI.)
