Package: libgstreamer-perl
Version: 0.04-1
Severity: serious
(sid)158:[EMAIL PROTECTED]: ~/src/libgstreamer-perl-0.04] /usr/bin/perl
-MGStreamer -I blib/lib -I blib/arch
zsh: segmentation fault /usr/bin/perl -MGStreamer -I blib/lib -I blib/arch
Compiling with GCC 4.0/4.1, -O0/-O2 doesn't make a difference so I
assume this is a real bug in your code.
The .so file is not stripped but gdb doesn't tell me much/anything:
"no debugging symbols found"
#0 0x2aab527c in _dl_debug_state () from /lib/ld.so.1
#1 0x2aaaa528 in ?? () from /lib/ld.so.1
warning: GDB can't find the start of the function at 0x2aaaa528.
Compiling with -g doesn't help.
20:59 <vorlon> well, it's a pretty nasty place to be crashing,
anyway....
20:59 <vorlon> is this only on mips?
20:59 <tbm> yeah
20:59 <vorlon> damn
20:59 <vorlon> otherwise I was going to suggest valgrind
21:00 <vorlon> it's possible valgrind on i386/amd64 would still find
the bug, even if it doesn't crash there normally
21:00 <tbm> well, I'll file the bug and hope someone can investigate
