I've run more hypre/2.15.1-5 tests in testing. 1 fail in 15. So
certainly there remains an unrepaired race condition.
However, this puts us with only 2 failures in 34 tests. As far as I can
tell the failures were more frequent than that before the 2.15.1-5
patch.
My interpretation is that there is more than one source of race
conditions. The evidence seems to be that 2.15.1-5 has closed one or two
of them, even though another one remains.
That makes hypre/2.15.1-5 useful for the buster release. I recommend it
for unblocking.
